The final chapter in the trilogy of long lost rehearsal tapes, this Alien Tab rehearsal from January 1997 at Cal's shop in Northern BC shows a much tighter band than displayed on the previous years efforts. Psychedelics are still the main influence for this frozen voyage into thrash metal with amps that could barely stay running in the bitter cold of the frozen Northern wastelands. Mostly instrumental with sparse vocals by Hafner, this live rehearsal dooms around spacey musical territory, with an underlying thrash base to the songs. Fast paced and raw, with tripped out fuzz, clean meandering bass, and steady old-school drums driving the sound, this is pure Canadian stoner metal! Dubbed in chronological order of performance from the original recently unearthed cassette and transferred to digital for this exclusive Bandcamp release.

Alien Tab Fort Saint John, British Columbia

Alien Tab was a stoner metal band in BC from 1995-97, and returned in 2016. Heavily influenced by weed, Slayer, Kyuss, and extraterrestrials, Alien Tab's loose jam sessions are a trip into stoned doom metal with some death and thrash influences, but mostly just frozen psychedelic drug-induced meanderings.
